Always the first question... understandably! It was my number one question when I had my own first procedure done. It took me forever to book because I was so nervous.. long story short, I fell asleep during the appointment! I didn't feel a thing!
I use 2 types of topical anesthetic, they both contain Lidocaine. The first is a cream formula and is applied before treatment for 30 minutes. The second is a gel formula and is used throughout the whole procedure, as much as needed. While there is some discomfort, and while everyone's pain tolerance is different, pain is minimal if at all. Its always a surprise to my clients how painless it actually is.
Your first brow appointment is usually between 2-3 hours.
This time includes brow design consultation, before photos, measuring, drawing, numbing, color selection, and the procedure. You will be able to see/approve the shape, style and color before we begin.
Touchup appointments take 1-2 hrs and are scheduled a minimum of 4 weeks apart.
Each Lipblush appt is approximately 3 hours. This time includes consent forms, aftercare instructions, consultation, color selection, before photos, measuring, drawing, numbing and the actual tattooing process. You will be able to see/approve the shape, style and color before we begin and with your approval we will begin the procedure.
I am licensed with the city of Coquitlam, Fraser Health approved and certified with WorkSafe B.C. I have my Bloodborne Pathogens certificate and am insured and multi-certified in each service I provide.
Personal protective equipment, masks and gloves are essential in my practice. Each procedure uses one time use/disposable needles, gloves & utensils. While allergies can happen, they are rare. I will provide a preconsultation with an allergy patch test for both pigment and both types of topical anesthetic at your request.
Your brows and lips are initially a 2 appointment process, our price include both appointments.
After that touchups are done to either refresh or intensify color.
Very rarely a client needs an additional touchup (after the first 2) but it could happen for reasons such as poor preparation prior to the appointment & poor aftercare, you have to do your part to ensure the best results. Its teamwork!
Following the before and aftercare protocols prolongs the life of your cosmetic tattoo, with better healing and longer lasting results
Yes you can, but it does depend on what is leftover from your previous work. Please book a consultation either in person over over the phone ( a clear well lit picture would be required for the phone consultation) *My touchup prices are for my previous clients who had their work done initially by me.
