Before and After Care

Lash Lift: Before & Aftercare Instructions

Proper prep ensures the best results and helps your lash lift last longer.

✅ 24–48 Hours Before

  • ✅ Remove contact lenses before your appointment. Bring glasses if needed — your eyes must remain closed for the entire procedure.

  • ✅ Avoid applying any eye makeup, mascara, eyeliner, or eyelash serums before your appointment.

  • ✅ Gently cleanse your eyes and lashes — arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes.

🚫 Avoid Before Your Appointment

  • ❌ Do not use waterproof mascara or lash serums for at least 48 hours prior.

  • ❌ No oil-based products on or around the eye area for 24–48 hours before.

  • ❌ No caffeine on the day of your appointment — it can cause eye fluttering during the service.

  • ❌ Do not curl your lashes before your lash lift — we need them in their natural state.

  • ❌ No lash tinting, perming, or other treatments within 2 weeks before your appointment.

📝 Let Us Know If You:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Have eye infections, allergies, or extremely sensitive eyes.

  • Have had recent eye surgery, LASIK, or procedures near the eye.

  • Are using prescription lash serums (e.g., Latisse) — they can affect lift results.

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Proper aftercare is crucial to maintain the lift and health of your lashes. Treat your lashes gently!

✅ The First 24–48 Hours Are Critical

  • ✅ Keep lashes completely dry for at least 4 hours, preferably 24 hours.

  • ✅ Avoid touching, rubbing, or sleeping on your face.

  • ✅ Brush lashes gently with a clean spoolie if needed.

🚫 Avoid for 24–48 Hours After Your Appointment

  • ❌ No steam, sweat, or tears on the lashes.

  • ❌ No mascara. No Lash growth serums.

  • ❌ No lash curlers or rubbing your eyes.

  • ❌ No oil-based products (cleansers, makeup removers, creams) near the lashes.

  • ❌ No facials, saunas, steam rooms, or intense workouts.

🧴 Ongoing Lash Care (After 48 Hours)

  • ✅ Use a lash-safe conditioner or nourishing serum to maintain lash health and to prolong the longevity of the lashlift.

  • ✅ Gently cleanse the eye area daily with oil-free micellar water or lash cleanser.

  • ✅ Brush lashes daily with a clean spoolie to keep them neat and lifted.

  • ❌ Avoid waterproof mascara — it can weaken the lift over time.

📅 MAINTENANCE & TOUCH-UPS

  • Lash lifts typically last 6–8 weeks, depending on your lash cycle.

  • You can repeat the treatment once 70% of the previous lift has grown out.

  • Avoid over-processing by waiting at least 6 weeks between appointments.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Everyone’s lash growth cycle is different — some clients may see quicker turnover.

  • Proper aftercare = longer-lasting lift and healthier lashes.

  • If you experience irritation, redness, or any adverse reaction, contact us immediately.

Brow Lamination: Before & Aftercare Instructions

Brow lamination helps you achieve fuller, fluffier, and more symmetrical brows — with results lasting up to 4–6 weeks. Proper preparation and aftercare are key to getting the best results and maintaining brow health.

📅 BEFORE YOUR BROW LAMINATION APPOINTMENT

To ensure a safe and effective lamination process, please follow the instructions below:

✅ 24–48 Hours Before

  • ✅ Arrive with clean skin — no makeup on or around the brow area.

  • ✅ Gently exfoliate the brow area 24–48 hours before (optional) to remove dry skin.

  • ✅ Avoid applying oils, heavy creams, or serums to the brow area.

🚫 Avoid Before Your Appointment

  • ❌ No retinol, retinoids, AHAs/BHAs (glycolic, salicylic, lactic acid), or exfoliating acids near the brow area for at least 5–7 days before your appointment.

  • ❌ Do not wax, thread, tweeze, or tint the brows for at least 5 days before.

  • ❌ No Botox, dermal fillers, or other facial treatments in the brow area for 2 weeks before.

  • ❌ Avoid sunburns or tanning the face prior to your appointment.

  • ❌ Do not use brow growth serums (like Latisse) for at least 3 days prior.

📝 Let Us Know If You:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding (lamination can be done with caution).

  • Have sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis, or open cuts near the brow area.

  • Have had a recent allergic reaction or irritation from brow products.

💆‍♀️ AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Your brows need gentle care in the first 24–48 hours to lock in their shape and prevent dryness or irritation.

✅ The First 24–48 Hours Are Key

  • ✅ Keep your brows dry — no water, steam, sweat, or makeup near the brows.

  • ✅ Gently comb your brows into place daily with a clean spoolie.

  • ✅ Apply a nourishing oil or serum ( brow conditioner, or a product we provide) daily to keep brows soft and hydrated.

🚫 Avoid for 24–48 Hours After

  • ❌ No washing or wetting the brow area.

  • ❌ No heavy creams, makeup, or oils directly on the brows.

  • ❌ No sweating, steam rooms, saunas, hot showers, or swimming.

  • ❌ No exfoliants, AHAs/BHAs, retinols, or active skincare near brows.

  • ❌ No brow pencils, powders, or gels — keep them product-free.

🧴 Long-Term Care & Styling

  • ✅ Brush your brows daily to keep them lifted and styled.

  • ✅ Keep applying your nourishing aftercare oil or serum to prevent dryness.

  • ✅ Avoid over-tweezing or waxing between appointments.

  • ✅ Rebook every 4–6 weeks to maintain results without overprocessing.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Lamination softens the brow hairs — they can become dry if not moisturized.

  • If irritation, redness, or flaking occurs, stop using all products and contact us.

  • Results last about 4–6 weeks depending on your hair growth cycle and aftercare routine.

Brows- Nano, Nano Combo, Powder, Microblading Before & Aftercare Instructions

Proper preparation is essential for pigment retention, healing, and optimal results. Please follow these guidelines carefully:

✅ 7–14 DAYS BEFORE

* ❌ No Retinol/Retinoids (Tretinoin, Retin-A, Differin, etc.)
These thin the skin and can cause excessive bleeding or pigment fading.

* ❌ No chemical peels, laser, glycolic acids, or facials
Avoid any anti-aging or resurfacing treatments on or near the brow area.

* ❌ No Botox, dermal fillers, or facial injections
Avoid for 4 weeks before and 2 weeks after your appointment.

* ❌ No waxing, tweezing, tinting, electrolysis, or threading
Do not touch the brow area for at least 7 days prior.

* ❌ No tanning or sunburns on the face.

* ❌ No exfoliation within 48 hours of your appointment.

✅ 3–5 DAYS BEFORE

* ✅ Wash your hair before the procedure — you will need to avoid wetting the brows after.

* ✅ Start hydrating — drink water and moisturize skin (but not the brow area directly).

* ❌ Stop taking supplements that thin the blood, such as:

    * Fish Oil

    * Vitamin E

    * Niacin

    * Ginkgo Biloba

✅ 24–48 HOURS BEFORE

* ❌ No alcohol (causes blood thinning and excessive bleeding).

* ❌ No caffeine (can increase sensitivity and bleeding).

* ❌ No exercise (raises body temp and heart rate).

* ❌ No ibuprofen, aspirin, Advil, or other blood thinners
Only Tylenol is permitted if you need pain relief.

* ❌ Avoid scheduling during your menstrual cycle, as sensitivity is heightened.

📸 Come Prepared

* ✅ Bring photo references of brows you love.

* ✅ Be ready to discuss your brow goals in detail.

* ✅ Come with a clean face, free of makeup and skincare on the brow area.

* ✅ Ensure you're well-rested and have eaten a light meal before your appointment.

💆‍♀️ AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Proper aftercare is critical for your healing process and results.

✅ Immediately After Your Appointment

* Redness and swelling are normal.

* Your brows will appear darker and more defined for the first 3–7 days.

* A light scabbing or flaking phase will occur — do not pick or scratch.

🧼 Day 1–7: Brow Care Routine

* Gently blot the brow area with a clean, slightly damp tissue or cotton round every 30 minutes for the first  couple hours, blot dry.

* Cleanse brows once daily using a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser (if instructed, Cetaphyl works great)

* Apply a thin layer of the recommended healing ointment if provided (only as advised).

* Keep brows dry — no water, steam, or sweat!

🚫 Avoid for 7–14 Days

* ❌ No sweating, saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga, or heavy exercise.

* ❌ No makeup on or around the brow area.

* ❌ No sun exposure or tanning.

* ❌ No skin care or exfoliants on the brows (AHAs, BHAs, Vitamin C, Retinol, etc.).

* ❌ No touching, scratching, or picking at the brows.

* ❌ No swimming or submerging your face in water.

* ❌ No facials or skin treatments near the brows.

💡 Long-Term Aftercare Tips

* Once healed, always apply SPF to your brows to prevent fading.

* Avoid long-term exposure to sun, saltwater, or chlorine.

* Results can last 1–3 years, but touch-ups may be required to maintain your desired look.

* Healing varies by skin type — please follow the healing timeline provided.

📍 IMPORTANT NOTES

* Failure to follow pre- and post-care instructions may result in pigment loss or poor retention.

* Your brows may heal unevenly after the first session. This is normal. A touch-up is scheduled for final detailing.

* Notify your artist if you experience any signs of infection: pus, excessive redness, or prolonged swelling.

Lip Blush: Before & Aftercare Instructions

Lip Blushing is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the natural shape and color of your lips. To ensure the best results, proper preparation and aftercare are essential.

📅 BEFORE YOUR LIP BLUSH APPOINTMENT

→ Start 5–7 days before and continue 5–7 days after your appointment.

  • ❌ No excessive licking or biting your lips.

  • ❌ No heavy sweating, saunas, pools, or hot tubs.

  • ❌ No exfoliating products or treatments near the lips.

💡 LONG-TERM CARE

  • Final healed results can take 4–6 weeks. A touch-up may be required at 6–8 weeks to perfect the color and shape.

  • Use SPF on your lips to protect pigment from fading due to sun exposure.

  • Stay hydrated and moisturize lips daily to maintain softness and pigment.

⚠️ IMPORTANT MEDICAL NOTE

If you are prone to cold sores or herpes simplex virus (HSV-1):

  • This procedure can trigger an outbreak, which can severely affect healing.

  • You must take a prescription antiviral (e.g., Valtrex) before and after the appointment.

  • Please consult your doctor at least a week prior for a prescription.
